Birthday Parties

Call up your party people, go for skate, then celebrate!
Birthday parties include admission to a designated  60 minute public leisure skate time for 20 people, followed by a 1 hour room rental. Hosts will need to bring your own food, decorations, and party activities and we will provide tables and chairs!

Arenas Admission Policy:

• ***Sticks, pucks, pylons, etc. and teaching private lessons are NOT permitted.
• Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by a guardian 16 years of age or older.
• The guardian must be on the ice and in skates and able to assist immediately if needed.
• Children 12 years and under must wear a hockey or ski/snowboard helmet.
• Anyone requiring access to the ice surface must be a paid admission and checked-in at Guest Services before going on the ice.
• Helmets are highly recommend for all users.
• Skater assists are permitted, but not provided.
• Helmet and/or skate rentals are not available.

Ratios:

• 1 adult per 4 children.

Mission: Fun!

The birthday party (or team builder) include admission to a designated public family nerf war drop-in time for 20 people, followed by a 1-hour room rental. Hosts will need to bring your own food, decorations, and party activities and we will provide tables and chairs!

Nerf  Wars Admission Policy:

• Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by a guardian.
• The guardians must be participating and 16 years of age or older.
• Players must be at least 6+ years old. The games in this session will be tailored to children 12 years and under.
• ALL players must be paid participants and check-in at Guest Services before going to the gymnasium.
• Please wear shoes with non-marking soles.
• Blasters and foam darts will be provided. Outside foam darts are not permitted.  Participants may bring and use their own blaster if it complies with Trico’s darts and is approved by the facilitator. Safety eyewear is also provided and must be worn.
• Spectators are not permitted in the gymnasium.

Ratios:

• 1 adult per 5 children (6-8 years old).
• 1 adult per 10 children (9-12 years old).

This birthday party (or team event) package includes a 1-hour private HALF GYMNASIUM rental, followed by a 1-hour room rental for 30 people. Hosts will need to bring your own food, decorations, and party activities and we will provide tables and chairs!

Process & Policies:

• Upon booking you will be asked to chose ONE playing surface option: empty space, basketball, volleyball (1 court), pickleball (2 courts), badminton (2 courts), soccer, or floor hockey
• Bring your own playing equipment or rent equipment from our Equipment Lending Library; view what’s available here.
• Please wear shoes with non-marking soles.
• Booking does NOT provide any additional access to drop-in facilities such as the fitness centre or aquatics centre.
• There is no activity facilitator provided.

• 1 adult per 5 children (under 8 years old) must be in the gymnasium.
• 1 adult per 10 children (9-12 years old) must be in the gymnasium.
• 1 adult per 30 children (over 13 years old) must be in the gymnasium.
